The few people that stayed up had fallen asleep on the benches. The sudden loneliness had drawn me closer to the fire. Its warmth stretched out and comforted me against the cooling night. As the shadows played across the trees and cabins, where most of the kids had retired for the night, I had been lost in thought and gazed at the fire. When I was watching the lights what I seemed to feel is that I could almost see the dreams or perhaps memories dancing through the lights. It’s as if people bring the small flames of their wishes and come together. And since they don’t want to extinguish the small flame they’ll bring that small flame to a bigger fire. Perhaps a bonfire of dreams. But you know, I didn’t bring a flame with me. I think I just stopped by to warm myself by the fire. I have always been confident in myself and abilities, even when I was little. I was able to win any “battle” I fought, just like now. But that doesn’t mean anything. I don’t have anything but this life. I don’t want to die. And just because I don’t want to die, I’ll continue living. I have experienced so much all ready, and yet I’ve never had a reason to live. I’ve always relied on someone to give me the reason.

Greek Fest in Rochester is Next weekend (9th - 11th) Picture courtesy of Capt'n Bob They say I was possessed that day. I had tacked my ship nicely but carelessly slipped off the back and slid into the cold sea (pond). As I went down however I grabbed onto the sail and held her steady to keep the wind in her. Being dragged haplessly behind the 1st mate lounged at me to pull me aloft, but I responded to his courage and obligation to save the captain with "Get back to your post you scurvy ridden bilge rat!" As we came close to the shore I kicked the rudder, spun her around and climbed aboard once more. We raced to the other side trying to make way against the torrents of wind when I misjudged the lay of the sand bar and our keel caught hold and once more I left the ship in a flurry of flailing arms and blasphemous language. The first mate had flown into the mast and was still dazed when I climbed aboard. After a spell we made it into the straight where the wind was ruthless and tore at our sail until a great nor'easter came down and we were capsized into Davey Jones Locker. This reminds me, September 19th is Talk Like A Pirate Day :)

Family Reunion

I think it was the 76th Anderson Family Reunion today, this little guy could only say a few words. His favorite was "no". "Hey buddy you want a dollar?" "No." "Two dollars?" "No!" "Asian Hooker?" "NOOOOOOOOO!" Well... My uncle thought it was funny. Buzznetters, I will be off on vacation for a week up in the Adirondacks camping. I apologize for not being on as much as I should, I really miss you guys. If there was anything Big that I missed in the last few months (People moving, Record amounts of fish caught, Canadian Mounty uprising, etc...) Please send me a link or just type me a message. I have five books, Three bottles of wine, some cheese, and my camera. I'll be back next SUNDAY!

This is Tomo Bito or 'Tomo san' As I like to call him. It is a fitting name, the little bugger follows me everywhere. Buzzers, Greetings and Salutations. It has been awhile and I hope everyone is content with life and its quandaries. As of late I have been working a lot. Except last weekend I went and did some rock climbing and Horse back riding which was quite refreshing. Maybe I'll post some of those pictures when I get some free time (I'm supposed to be at work right now :) I feel awful about leaving for so long and feared I would be tarred, feathered and stoned upon my return.
